Long walk to water. Section One.

1.
We learn that Salva's life is a rough life.  Travelling 30 minutes to get to school.  He had to learn Arabic because of the law. He was from the Dinka tribe. She had to carry a water container so big she had to carry it on her head. It is not like my own life.

2.
When am I going to see my family again? I think he will.
Where is my family?  I think they are captured.
Where am I going?  I think he is just getting away from the fighting.

3.
Nya's journey everyday is travelling 8 km to get water.

A Long Walk To Water. Section 2.

1) They don't want him because
he is just a child so what use is he.
And they though he would whine and moan.

2) Because she takes all day to get it.
The water dictates her
life because she has to live off of it.
Without it she will die.

3)
I have learnt that Salva and other people are
lost and he is looking for his parents.

I have learnt that people in other countries
can't have fresh water like in some countries.

I have learnt that some people can't have all nice stuff
and have to travel long distances to get water and some food.

4)
There isn't that much shelter, food or water.
Her home is better because she has her family
and it has more shelter.
But she still takes her day getting water.
She is always walking to get the water.
